Questions, Questions
The brother- and sister-in-law arrived in Austin from Raleigh on Thursday and will be visiting for the next several days. They have brought The Beautiful Wee One with them. It's really a trial run for the Critter & Little Bit for the Princess who will be coming in less than 30 days (!). They LOVE her. L.O.V.E. her. As well as all the nifty infant toys/paraphernalia we drug out of the attic in anticipation of their visit. I hope they do as well with the one who will be moving into their old room permanently.
Here are a few questions which have cropped up from various people during their visit so far:
Here are a few questions which have cropped up from various people during their visit so far:
The Beautiful Wee McAustin, 5 months
Query from Critter yesterday morning to no one specific regarding BWO's plush, quacking duck toy.
"Mom, can I go get a beach towel from the car?" Overheard while walking along South Congress Street during First Thursday from a random elementary schooler wearing shorts and a tank top. The kid was learning that sometimes we do experience that thing called 'wind chill' when the temperature drops 30 degrees over the course of the day....even in Texas.
What is it with kids and "orange smiles"?
Daddy McAustin: "Is there movement toward the exit?"
reply: "2 cm dilated, 25% effaced".....she's just teasing me, really.....

Yep, she's teasing you! Why do they do that???
That is one gorgeous baby. I'm sure she's not one little bit spoiled.
Your niece is one cutie-pa-tootie!
Hey, your little one could be like Daughter #2 and just decide to take up permanent residence in there...well, not permanant, but a week late...which felt like PERMANANT!
She is so very cute!
I love the orange smile!
Oh she's beautiful alright! Wow!
Your boys are so cute and I'm sure they'll love having their very own little Princess to spoil :-)
Wow - she's so perfect! She really is a beautiful baby.
Your boys are cuties too. :)
That's a heck of a lot more movement towards the exit than I had at 2 weeks POST due date.
What a sweet beautiful baby.
Critter and Little bit are quite cute themselves!
