SPF: Fall
....and that would be my reason for not updating here in over a week.
The weather has been lovely and we've been out and about every single day.

This week, Kristine wants to see these things: our season changing, the beauty of where we call home, and our favorite part of the change of seasons.
I'm cheating a bit here and combining the first two into one picture:
It's the middle of October, and we're just now getting the first of the color change in the landscape. It's still pretty warm, but I'll take what I can get!
My favorite
Fall to me is all about texture, both outside, and in my wardrobe. I LOVE it when I can finally pull out the corduroy, velvet, tweed, and chunky sweaters.

Hey, since you seem to know where all the beautiful places are here in Austin, do you have a pumpkin patch recommendation? We were going to go to Elgin tomorrow but now it looks like rain :( So we might have to go somewhere during the week when the hubs gets off work.

I am so with you on bundling up. I'm a little guy, so wrapping up in something warm and cozy, even just a scarf, feels soooooooooo good.

It is interesting to see you talk about textures in regards to the season change. I am obsessed with textures...in clothes and in my photography! In my SPF I talk about the challenge of trying to translate textures through photo...they have to invite the viewer to touch them and almost feel them using only their imagination! You did a great job doing just that!

LOL on the sweaters....I had to dig into the attic at 5:30 am. friday morning, and the hubs was all "wtf?" I can dream.....
