WBW Part Une: The Invitiation....

You are cordially invited to relive your wedding via the world wide web.

That is the invitation from Mama Duck at The Kept Woman .
So,without further ado......

Welcome to the photo journal wedding of Muffin and GDog from TX, held at the lovely The Dallas Arboretum, on the fine evening of June 23, 2000.

Take note of the gorgeous flowers....calla lillies and roses artfully done up in pretty pastels.... ...the beautiful topper for the cake..... ...the oh-so-tasty vanilla creme cake with Chambord filling and buttercream icing....that the bride and groom got just that one bite of..... ...the fabulous groom's cake made with dark chocolate, Kahlua creme filling, and hand-dipped strawberries.....

....the flower girls' dresses...
....buttoning up the heirloom bridal gown....
....Miss Hannah looks on in anticipation..... ...all dressed up with somewhere VERY SPECIAL to go......

OMG, I want to CHOW on the groom's cake! Yummmy!

Although five years later I'm not sure the flavor would have held... ;)

Actually, the ONLY food we got AT ALL was the bite of cake for the pic. I never even made it into the room where the buffet was, and I carried the same drink around the entire 3 hours. We both woke up around 4 am the next morn. famished and noshed on the take-away pack the caterer sent along. Too many people to schmooze with, lots of dancing......a ton of fun.
